Dragons Lake is a multi-genre game development studio for PC and consoles. We are proud to
work on outstanding AAA titles such as Outriders, The Quarry, Life is Strange, and many others.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to enhance their skills in Render development and
enter the GameDev industry. After a successful internship, you’ll be working on triple-A projects
alongside top industry professionals.
Now, this is what we expect from you:
At least Intermediate level of English;
Fundamental knowledge of C++: primitive data types, Inheritance, polymorphism in C++,
memory model, lambda expressions, algorithms and data structures, compilation and linking;
A learner’s mindset;
Good mathematical skills (Vectors, Matrices and operations with them);
Basic understanding or desire to learn computer graphics;
And, of course, a passion for video games.
This is how you get in here:
Send an application;
Do a test task – it takes 1 week ≈ 30-40 hours;
Have technical and soft skills interview – 1,5 hours;
Have a final interview with the Lead trainer.
All stages take place online. Your progress will be supervised by our mentors who will guide you
through the learning process. After the internship, you will get the opportunity to join the Dragons
Lake team as a C++ Engine/Render Developer.
This is a paid internship, so you will be fairly rewarded for your hard work. Apply now, and after
the review of your application, you will get a test task. This task is going to be related to C++
fundamentals, the knowledge of which is a key to your success. Based on the results of the test
task, we will invite you to a technical interview.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to create your very own Rendering Engine and learn all
about producing a wide range of visual effects. Throughout the program, you’ll implement a simple
CPU ray tracer and study the GPU language and a graphics API like Direct3D 11.
